Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Office Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in McLean, Virginia. As an Office Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting daily office operations and ensuring seamless communication within the team. Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and clients with a friendly and attentive demeanor, ensuring they feel welcomed and attended to.
- Manage incoming calls and emails, directing them to the appropriate departments or individuals.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to create, edit, and manage documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area and office space.
- Provide administrative support such as scheduling meetings, organizing files, and handling correspondence.
- Assist with office supplies inventory and coordinate replenishment as needed.
- Ensure adherence to business dress code standards at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and address any challenges promptly.
- Coordinate parking arrangements and provide directions to visitors when necessary. Requirements - Minimum of one year of experience in an administrative or receptionist role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients, visitors, and team members.
- Ability to maintain a well-groomed and detail-oriented appearance in accordance with business attire standards.
