About Our Property Deloitte Hotel & Conference Center – A high‑end private hotel and conference center called Deloitte University, closed to the public. Currently 800 single‑occupancy rooms (no suites). Expanding to 1,400 rooms by March 2026. Three restaurants (including a Starbucks), expanding to nine by March 2026. 105,000 square feet of meeting space (ballrooms, amphitheater, classrooms), expanding to 200 k by March 2026. Fitness center, jogging trails, and sports fields. Professional clientele only – no weddings, holiday parties, school groups, or other social‑type events. What You Will Have An Opportunity To Do The main function for the Mechanical Preventive Maintenance Tech will be to perform preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment such as HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, and other small equipment like vacuums and more.
Status: Full Time.
Availability: 1st & 2nd Shift.
Payrate: $19.85 per hour.
Essential Functions
Performs preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment throughout the hotel.
Performs duty rounds using daily checklists; reports on and corrects noted problems.
Identifies problems, initiates work orders, completes assigned work orders, and performs all necessary repairs.
Maintains a safe, clean, and efficient workspace; responsible for inventory of tools in use.
Works safely, including proper use of PPE and following safety protocols.
Uses maintenance request system correctly; training provided.
Assists with maintenance requests for other trades, as needed.
Qualifications
One year experience in a similar job required.
Ability to read and interpret property blueprints.
Skilled with using hand, power, and diagnostic tools.
Texas Driver’s License with good driving record preferred.
Compensation $19.85 per hour.
