The Production Supervisor will oversee the manufacturing operations by monitoring how employees organize their workflows. This is done by setting objectives, managing the team, measuring outputs, and ensuring product flow. The Production Supervisor will also be responsible for training the team, and ensuring the shop is clean, safe, and efficient.
Responsibilities
Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
Oversee and coach employees
Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
Check production output according to specifications
Submit reports on performance and progress
Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
Write, review and implement standard operating procedures
Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
Enforce strict safety guidelines, usage of PPE and company standards
Implement and apply lean manufacturing methodology
Requirements
Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role in a Manufacturing environment, a minimum of 7 years of experience
Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools, preferably knowledgeable in power electronics or intricate mechanical assemblies
Strong MS Office skills, computer literacy is a must
Must be able to work in a diverse cultural environment
Knowledgeable in 5S methodology and standards
Organizational and leadership abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Self‑motivated with a results‑driven approach
Problem‑solving skills
High School Diploma; Degree in a technical, engineering or relevant field will be an advantage
