About the Role We are seeking a
skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician
with expertise in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machines and automation equipment. You will work on a wide range of CNC machinery, robotics, and industrial systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machines and automation systems.
Perform electrical maintenance on CNC mills, lathes, machining centers, and robotics.
Work with equipment such as P&H cranes/hoists, conveyors, furnaces, large part washers, ABB robots, and CNC machine tools.
Repair CNC and PLC equipment with controllers from Fanuc, Siemens, and Modicon.
Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC analog and digital drives, sensors, cables, wiring, drive faults, encoders, and 480V systems.
Connect laptops to machines for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Log all maintenance activities and generate work orders using the MMS system.
Prioritize machinery repairs based on equipment value stream.
Essential Skills
Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for CNC machines.
Proficiency in electrical maintenance and wiring.
Ability to troubleshoot PLC controls and edit ladder logic.
Experience with control systems including Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Fanuc.
Knowledge of AC/DC power systems and encoders.
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Electrician.
Associate Degree in Industrial Automation.
Experience with glass scale linear encoders.

This is a Contract position based out of Detroit, MI.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $45.00/hr.
