Senior Fabricator – PAR Systems – Jered LLC
Join our Welding Fabrication Team at
PAR Systems , a leader in engineered solutions for naval and maritime systems. As a Senior Fabricator, you will use advanced welding techniques—including GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, and SAW—to fabricate mission‑critical components to exacting MILSPEC standards.
Responsibilities
Fabricate, fit, and weld intricate steel structures using GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, and SAW techniques.
Maintain multiple weld certifications, troubleshoot equipment, and interpret complex engineering drawings.
Mentor junior fabricators, model best practices, and help foster a culture of learning and craftsmanship.
Achieve production goals while upholding quality and safety standards in a high‑output manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
5+ years of advanced welding experience in a heavy industrial environment.
Current certifications in GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW.
Proficient in reading engineering drawings and welding symbols.
Skilled in MILSPEC‑level fabrication and qualified to pass advanced weld qualification tests, including 6G pipe.
Proficient with forklifts, cranes, precision measurement tools, and GD&T.
U.S. person.
Preferred Qualifications
Technical school diploma or additional advanced fabrication certifications.
SAW welding and setup experience.
Master Rigger certification.
Experience with aluminum, stainless steel, cast iron, and nickel alloy.
