As a Nextech HVAC/R Technician, you'll deliver reliable, high‑quality service to commercial clients. From troubleshooting to repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance, you’ll be the expert our customers trust. Daily Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components. Perform maintenance and emergency service as needed, including after‑hours on‑call rotations. Accurately document all service details using company‑provided iPads. Maintain company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory to the highest standards. Communicate clearly with customers and dispatch to ensure smooth scheduling and service delivery. Identify additional service opportunities and share them with customers. Compensation & Benefits
Minimum compensation: USD $35.00/hr. Maximum compensation: USD $50.00/hr. Sign‑on bonus up to $2,000 for qualified candidates. Company vehicle – fully equipped van with gas card. Dispatch from home for daily convenience. Port‑to‑port travel pay. Tool allowance. Paid training, certification support, and education reimbursement. Health, dental, and vision plans after 30 days; free employee‑only plan available. Free life insurance equal to annual salary. 401(k) with 50% company match on first 6%. This is a physically active role. You must be able to: Safely work at heights using ladders up to 28–32 feet. Lift, carry, and maneuver tools and equipment, including ladders, up to 100 lbs. Perform twisting, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and reaching into confined spaces. Maintain stamina for repetitive tasks and extended activity. Stand, sit, walk, and climb ladders throughout the day. Use vision, hearing, and verbal communication continuously. Operate iPads, cell phones, and computers. Travel to customer sites as needed. Occasionally work in an office environment. Follow all safety procedures. Potential accommodations may be provided under ADA. Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. Minimum 2 years recent experience as an HVAC/R field technician. EPA certification and a valid driver’s license. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret schematics and work plans. Comfort with mobile apps and technology. Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to quality. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays when needed. Seniority Level
