Responsibilities
Provide expert legal counsel on insurance coverage matters to clients.
Interpret insurance policies, analyze coverage, and draft coverage opinions.
Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, negotiation, and settlement.
Develop and maintain client relationships by providing exceptional service and advice.
Collaborate with a team of attorneys to develop case strategies and legal arguments.
Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of insurance coverage matters.
Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends related to insurance coverage.
Represent clients in court, before government agencies, or in private legal matters.
Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, judges, and others involved in the legal process.
Participate in business development activities including marketing, networking, and client seminars.
Qualifications
Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
Must be licensed to practice law in the state.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an attorney with a focus on insurance coverage.
Proven track record of representing clients in complex insurance coverage disputes.
Strong knowledge of insurance laws, regulations, and industry trends.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, research, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high‑quality legal advice.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Experience in litigation, including trial preparation and courtroom representation.
Proficiency in legal research tools and technology.
Self‑motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
