Be among the first 25 applicants. LHH is partnering with a privately held manufacturing organization to recruit an HR Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the human resources function, including staffing, employee relations, compensation and benefits, safety, compliance, and performance management. Reporting directly to the President, the HR Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees while ensuring HR practices align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all functional areas of Human Resources, including staffing, compensation and benefits, employee relations, safety, training, and performance management.
Provide day‑to‑day supervision, coaching, and direction to HR staff.
Lead recruitment efforts, including reviewing job openings, conducting interviews, and extending offers of employment.
Conduct employee relations investigations and implement corrective actions as appropriate.
Manage workers’ compensation claims, safety initiatives, and corrective action plans.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Communicate HR policies, procedures, and expectations to employees and management.
Administer payroll activities and new hire onboarding as needed.
Manage FMLA and leave of absence processes.
Partner with leadership to resolve employee issues and support organizational development.
Approve HR‑related invoices, including staffing agencies, benefits, and uniforms.
Maintain employee handbooks, personnel files, and legally required documentation.
Lead and support customer social compliance audits.
Manage the HR budget and track spending against plan.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Manager with oversight of all core HR functions.
Strong working knowledge of employment laws and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Strong communication skills with a customer‑service mindset.
Ability to establish credibility and build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
Base Salary:
$95,000 – $110,000 annually

Paid Time Off:
3 weeks (120 hours) annually
