The hourly range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills, and an evaluation of internal pay equity.

About Learning, Development & Delivery Learning develops, deploys and evaluates learning solutions to support employee development and build organizational capability in alignment with business strategies. This function analyzes learning needs and develops training curricula, technologies, and programs. It also manages third‑party trainings and partners with leaders and subject matter experts to deliver learning.

Learning Development and Delivery provides instructor‑led trainings and manages training processes to maximize employee value from learning solutions. This job family delivers training materials including presentations, guides, manuals, and course evaluations, and coordinates training schedules based on training needs.

Responsibilities

Lead presentations covering Cardinal Health’s policies and procedures.

Train new associates in processes, work assignments, and various skills pertaining to their daily job functions.

Assist with ongoing training and development of associates who need assistance.

Lead the team in daily job functions.

Follow established SOPs to process orders, including accurately picking, performing quality‑control checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building and wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and preparing orders for shipment.

Perform cross‑training in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as assigned by management.

Receive large boxes on the dock, scan product with an RF scanner, and input product information into the computer.

Break down product cases and operate heavy equipment to replenish the warehouse.

Utilize a voice‑to‑pick system to pick large case items with material handling equipment or pick small units of measure items and place them on a cart.

Palletize large items for shipment and wrap them.

Pack small items in boxes.

Drive material handling equipment as required (order picker, forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, walk‑by rider).

Perform housekeeping and inventory‑control tasks, maintaining a clean work environment and complying with all environmental health and safety requirements.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED (preferred).

6+ years of related experience (preferred).

6+ years of distribution warehouse experience (preferred).

Automated or RF warehouse experience (beneficial).

Ability to operate or learn material handling equipment (pallet jacks, cherry/order pickers, reach trucks, forklifts).

Ability to work standing for long periods and frequent stooping or bending.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Detail‑oriented, quality‑focused and self‑motivated.

Fluent in English, with reading and writing proficiency.

Ability to work in coordination with other team members to accomplish goals.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced distribution environment while meeting performance quotas and standards.

Must be flexible to work overtime as needed.

Adherence to site safety regulations, including wearing required personal protective equipment such as steel‑toed shoes and safety harnesses; accountable to Cardinal Health’s EHS and QRA policies and procedures.
