Responsibilities This position will play a vital role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance. You will also assist with various administrative functions such as electronic filing, data entry, answering phones, and other administrative duties.
1. Processing Payroll : Attention to detail and strong numeracy skills; Entering data with 100% accuracy; Proofing of payroll hours every week; Generating payroll reports & reporting new hires.
2. Administrative : Record keeping and reporting; Sort incoming mail and answer calls to the payroll line; Ability to work with weekly deadlines; Comfortable with 10-key data entry.
3. Supporting Operations and Sales : Assist with HR and accounting functions as needed; Partnering with Sales to minimize errors for payroll processing; Training on new technologies and processes.
4. Employee Support : Assisting with employee questions; Resolving payroll discrepancies; Educating employees about payroll policies, laws, and regulations.
5. Systems & Technology : Proficient in payroll software; Protecting confidential and sensitive information; Adaptability to new technologies;
Grit : Determination, hustle, positivity, tenacity.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
or equivalent work experience.
Certification:
Certified Staffing Professional (CSP) desired but not required.
Self‑starter:
Take initiative and drive results independently.
Competitive spirit:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills:
