in Oklahoma City, OK. In this position, you’ll work 7 p.m.–7 a.m. with our Med Surg Oncology team providing exceptional care to those who have entrusted INTEGRIS Health with their healthcare needs.

Responsibilities
Perform personal patient care tasks such as mouth care, making beds, giving baths, perineal care, hair care, shaving patients, giving backrubs, and emptying bedpans or urinals.
Assist with patient safety issues, including ensuring patient identification arm bands, adherence to fall protocol and use of restraints, positioning, promotion of rest and sleep environments, and reporting incidents or injury occurrences.
Perform treatments such as urinary catheter care, enema administration, preparation of sitz baths, application of compresses, and assisting with patient ambulation.
May retrieve and transport medications.
The Patient Care Tech reports to an assigned leader. The position may involve physical restraint of patients, use of the Behavior Management Technique System, and other physical demands as requested. Exposure to infections, blood, bodily fluids, electric equipment, and chemicals may occur; standard precautions must be followed. Occasionally exposure to X‑rays and exhaled anesthetic gases in PACU.
Qualifications
Current BLS certification or completion within 90 days.
Successful completion of a recognized nursing assistant course or an accredited nursing program (Nursing Fundamentals or Introduction to Nursing) with skills lab/clinical rotation, or enrollment in a CNA training program within 45 days; verification required. Alternatively, 3 months of experience in an INTEGRIS patient‑care area with training, or 12 months of nursing‑assistant experience in an acute care, nursing‑home, home‑care, or long‑term care facility, or prior military corpsman medical training.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
Department‑specific competencies to be completed during orientation.
Float pool only: must be able to operate an INTEGRIS‑owned or personal vehicle and possess a current driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
