Job Description INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center, Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit health system, offers a full‑time night shift (6:45 pm–7:15 am) position for a Patient Care Tech in Oklahoma City, OK. As part of our Cardiothoracic ICU team you will provide exceptional care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse. Benefits include front‑loaded PTO, 100 % paid short‑term disability, increased retirement match, and paid family leave.
Responsibilities
Perform personal patient care tasks such as mouth care, making beds, giving baths, perineal care, hair care, shaving patients, giving backrubs, and emptying bedpans or urinals.
Assist with patient safety issues: ensuring identification arm bands, adherence to fall protocols, use of restraints, proper positioning, promotion of rest and sleep, and reporting incidents or injuries.
Perform treatments including urinary catheter care, enema administration, preparation of sitz baths, applying compresses, and assisting patient ambulation.
Retrieve and transport medications.
The Tech reports to an assigned leader.
Qualifications
Current BLS certification or completion within 90 days.
Completion of a recognized nursing assistant course or an accredited nursing program (or equivalent) within the required timeframe; see detailed options in the full application.
Effective communication skills in English.
Completion of department‑specific competencies during orientation; float pool only.

The incumbent must operate an INTEGRIS‑owned vehicle or a personal vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Potential exposure to infections and communicable diseases; exposure to blood, body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals. Follow standard precautions. PACU: occasional exposure to patient x‑rays and low levels of exhaled anesthetic gases.
