For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations. Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Union City site is looking for a new Quality Auditor to join our Contract Logistics team. As a Contract Logistics Quality Auditor, you will report to a Lead or Supervisor and ensure that all product is audited and inspected before shipment.
Your typical schedule will be Monday - Friday, 5:00 am - 1:30 pm .
How you create impact
Ensure processes are followed to ensure accuracy and that quality standards are met
Follow health and safety policies that comply with company and OSHA regulations
Identify non-conformances
Monitor quality of outgoing shipments
Establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks
Resolve discrepancies or escalates according to process
Work overtime and weekends
Other responsibilities as assigned
What we would like you to bring
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be a U.S. citizen
2+ years of warehouse experience
1 or more year of experience in a full-time quality role such as Quality Auditor, Quality Specialist, or Quality Inspector
Basic technical and math skills
Can lift up to 50 pounds
