Production Supervisor Where will you work Onsite - New Wales Facility, FL (3095 Highway 640 Mulberry, FL 33860)

Hours/Schedule This role follows a DuPont Schedule, a four-week rotation of 12-hour shifts that supports 24/7 operations while offering extended time off.

Work 14 days/month

7 consecutive days off every 4 weeks

Rotates between day and night shifts

Average 42 hours/week

Responsibilities The Production Supervisor oversees safe, environmentally responsible, and continuous production operations to ensure the plant runs efficiently. This role encompasses all aspects of production supervision, including managing hourly employees, maintaining product quality, ensuring safety and environmental compliance, and coordinating railroad and raw material activities. The supervisor supports process improvements and capital projects as needed, assists with employee training and qualification programs, and serves as a key liaison between management, shift operations, and maintenance teams. Additional responsibilities include conducting audits and inspections, as well as reviewing and authorizing work permits.

Maintain safe and environmentally sound operating conditions within equipment design parameters

Lead, schedule, coach, train, and develop hourly employees as needed (incl. safety and environmental)

Facilitate ongoing communication between hourly employees and management to ensure proper and efficient rail operation, product quality, allocation of resources, safety and environmental

Work with operations and maintenance to troubleshoot and address problems in the plant to maximize product and raw materials flow and safety.

Assist in the implementation of process improvements or capital projects

Responsible for conducting audits and inspections

Reviews and authorizes work permits

What You’ll Need

High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of relevant experience or 2-year technical program with 2+ years of experience required.

Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Must be an effective leader and have positive influence on hourly work force.

Strong motivational, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills in a fast-paced environment are required.

Bonus Points If You Have The Following

Technical or Engineering Bachelor’s degree with at least 1+ years of relevant experience.

Step-up, leadership, or supervisory experience.

Industrial experience, chemical experience, and or supervisory experience.

Experience with SAP, Pi, OIS, Kronos.

Manufacturing, ammonia, and fertilizer experience a plus.
