Pipe Support Engineer – Ogden, UT Cimarron is seeking a Pipe Support Engineer to locate and design supports for various piping systems and perform associated calculations for the Sentinel program in Ogden, UT. This onsite position offers a 9X80 work schedule (every other Friday off), paid overtime, and a strong work/life balance. A relocation allowance can be provided for candidates not local to the Ogden area.

Cimarron is proud to support the Northrop Grumman/Bechtel team in designing the next‑generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) weapon system for the U.S. Air Force. All full‑time hires for this opportunity are eligible for a $5,000 referral bonus.

Key Duties

Utilize knowledge of common pipe support hardware, industry standards, and relevant codes such as AISC and ASME B31.3.

Work closely with layout personnel and pipe stress engineers to deliver a quality and cost‑effective design.

Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as required.

Perform work in a 3D model environment.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education

Only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.

Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance and complete a pre‑employment background check and drug screening.

Must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID‑compliant driver’s license or state‑issued identification card at the time of hire.

6 or more years of related experience.

Ability to review/approve piping layouts & support requirements per DoD standards/ASME B31.3.

Familiarity with common pipe support hardware, industry standards, and relevant codes such as AISC & ASME B31.3.

Hands‑on experience using a stress analysis program.

Prior experience working in a 3D model environment.

Experience with GT Strudl for support/frame analysis or a similar tool.

Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education

Active Secret clearance.

Previous DoD project experience for Risk Category 5 facilities.

Hands‑on experience using a structural frame analysis program.

P.E. registration.

Previous Bechtel project experience.
