Aerospace Layup Technician - 1st Shift

Job Description The Aerospace Layup Technician will be responsible for performing layup of composite materials on aircraft parts and assemblies. The technician will work with a team of engineers and technicians to ensure that all parts are manufactured to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
Perform layup of composite materials on aircraft parts and assemblies
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Prepare molds and tooling for layup
Operate and maintain layup equipment and tools
Perform quality checks on finished parts and assemblies
Document work performed and maintain accurate records
Adhere to all safety and quality standards
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with composite layup in an aerospace manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Experience with composite tooling and molds
Ability to operate and maintain layup equipment and tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines
Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
