Support Desk Data Analyst
in Columbia, SC. The role supports a complex government client, providing overall reporting and real-time data analytics for a 24x7 Tier II Service Desk. The analyst works closely with leadership to determine data requirements, design output formats, and validate results for both ad hoc and scheduled internal reports.
Work Location:
Onsite – five days per week, downtown Columbia, SC.
Security:
Must be U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Required Knowledge and Experience
2–4 years of experience in a technical support position
Proficiency in writing T‑SQL queries against various Microsoft and Data Warehouse databases
1–2 years of experience with relational database queries and transactions, including stored procedures using SQL Server 2019
Experience designing, creating, testing, and implementing reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Strong quantitative, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills
Thorough knowledge of relational database theory and practice
Preferred Education, Experience & Skills
ITIL 4 certification
Experience supporting a Service Desk environment (reporting or analyst)
Experience with System Center Service Manager (SCSM)
Experience with Cireson Portal
