Job Summary The Task Manager provides a diverse set of tasks to support the Director and Deputy Director. Has extensive experience with Air Force office functions in an intelligence environment to leverage while satisfying all requirements. Effective communication skills, time management, and organizational skills required. Must possess a TS/SCI security clearance.
Essential Functions
Develops and maintains relationships with various internal and external stakeholders
Plans major liaison activities in support of the organization and relevant programs
Develops and implements plans designed to enhance relationships with stakeholders
Reviews, writes, and evaluates executive correspondence, reports, and other written products
Participates in development and organization of policies and programs and other related concerns associated with organizational management
Provides information and advice regarding meeting requests and availability
Develops and maintains documentation of meeting and event requests and establishes system for request disposition
Develops and maintains system to gather background information, key issues, meeting notes and decisions
Monitors incoming and outgoing correspondence and action documents to ensure deadlines are met and responses are prepared according to AFH 33-337, The Tongue and Quill
Screens all correspondence ensuring review and creates formal processes and controls to present finished products to the Director
Coordinates travel for the Director, including all necessary arrangements such as reservations, transportation, and appointment confirmations
Responds to preliminary inquiries by members of the HQ staff
Provides consultation, subject matter expertise, and advice to customer and/or company
Supports the client with other administrative related requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
6+ years' professional work experience with 2+ years in an Exec-type role or 10+ years' professional work experience with 5+ years in an Exec-type role
Experience providing managerial/administrative/executive protocol support to a senior executive
Experience providing project management oversight on routine office projects
Experience recommending, developing or implementing change/improvements that facilitate the operation of the office
Experience coordinating and scheduling travel, briefings, meetings, conferences and other appointments and activities for senior management
Experience providing advice and assistance on administrative matters to senior executives and performing a wide variety of highly confidential assignments to support senior leadership
Experience managing travel, conference scheduling, and other special appointments for senior executive
TS/SCI clearance
Position Requirements
3 years related experience
Ability to work independently and in a team environment to accomplish goals and objectives
Demonstrated high level of writing skills
Excellent communication skills
Project Management/Project Planning/Project Analysis experience
Ability to multi-task, work with a team, and follow procedures
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to read, write and speak English
Public Trust with a minimum Tier 2 and up to a Tier 4 security clearance
Education
Bachelor’s Degree and/or managing 15 or greater employees
