Multiple Function Manufacturing Associate Manager
Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is looking for a seasoned manager to oversee multiple functional areas of manufacturing at the Owego site.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the training department supporting all manufacturing operations
Oversee the Assembly Business Unit stockroom and tool crib
Lead the ABU Rework/FFU/1TR/JSFTR production work centers
Champion the relevant Performance Metric Team (PMT)
Manage safety and wellness within the work group and centers
Implement and maintain 6S in work centers
Participate in regular business meetings in support of manufacturing operations
Approve employee timekeeping in the Autotime system weekly
Ensure quality, cost, schedule, and culture align with manufacturing goals
Identify and drive manufacturing improvements
Coordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions
Desired Skills & Qualifications
Experience managing a technical training department in a manufacturing setting, including tool crib/stockroom support
Lean Six Sigma (LM21) Green Belt certification
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing, Operations or related field
Experience leading or serving as a metric owner of PMT(s)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proactive team player, self‑motivated and results oriented
Position Details
Senior at mid‑senior level
Full‑time, onsite at Lockheed Martin facility
Location: Endicott, NY (Owego site)
Compensation: $70,000–$85,000 annually
