Title Assembler I – Endicott, NY
Overview Experienced manufacturing build operator supporting a rework center, tasked with inspecting orders, verifying defects, and performing rework operations, including electromagnetic and mechanical assemblies.
Responsibilities • Inspect in‑process and completed products such as electronic units, electromechanical assemblies, and mechanical subassemblies for structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds. • Use predetermined methods, setups, and prescribed specifications to visually inspect and document non‑conformances. • Provide remedial training to operators lacking Manufacturing Self‑Inspection (MSI) certification and route hardware to the appropriate work center for repair when necessary. • Update MSI refresher training based on trends identified through routine inspection and collaboration within Operational Excellence Teams (OETs). • Offer inspection support to other work centers at leadership discretion and provide production build support as required. • Maintain compliance with IPC‑A‑610 and other applicable industry standards.

Experience with soldering techniques and equipment.
