Supervisor, Machine Maintenance

What You Will Be Doing
Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities
Monitor equipment performance and respond to breakdowns to minimize downtime
Maintain and improve preventive maintenance programs for production equipment
Manage maintenance-related budgets, including spare parts, tools, and external services
Create and maintain production equipment spare parts inventory
Supervise, coach, and develop machine maintenance technicians
Assign team schedules, daily work, manage performance, and provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support
Ensure team compliance and work aligns with company policy and procedures, industry standards and regulations.
Promote a safe work environment and enforce lockout/tagout and other safety requirements
Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to support manufacturing operations
Participate in root cause analysis, failure investigations, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
Support equipment installation, upgrades, and new equipment commissioning
Provide maintenance input for continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment history
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
Support audits and inspections related to safety, quality, and maintenance systems
Must Have For This Role
High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ years of engineering or maintenance experience, with 1 year in a leadership or project coordination role
Experience managing multiple maintenance projects or tasks and support team success
Experience and knowledge of a manufacturing production floor, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, or OSHA safety policies
Nice To Have
Experience in plastics manufacturing
Experience in highly regulated industries
Familiarity with CMMS asset management systems
Travel required: 10%, domestic.
For this position, the typical annual starting base salary is from $65,975 to $85,557, which does not include variable incentive pay. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
