Operator I As an Operator I you will be responsible for setting up and operating automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. This role will monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to operation/process specifications.
Essential Functions & Requirements
Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
Observes and conducts the operation of equipment and documents maintenance needs
Verifies equipment data for reporting; supports and assists with the installation of operating equipment
Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
Repetitive manual manipulation of explosive material
Operate forklift and other material handling equipment as needed
In process inventory control and management within explosives limits
Education
High‑school diploma (required)
Vocational/technical degree (preferred)
Experience
Entry level (no experience required)
Competencies
Strong communication skills to share information related to equipment or processes with appropriate functions or departments
Ability to gather and document information accurately
Ability to move or lift objects up to 45lbs
Ability to work under close supervision
Regular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this role
Additional Qualifications
Must have a valid driver's license
Must have citizenship or be a naturalized citizen
Must be at least 21 years of age
