Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform routine equipment maintenance and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
Repair machines or systems using the needed tools.
Monitor gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure machines are working properly.
Troubleshoot operating errors and decide what to do about them.
Control operations of equipment or systems; carry out quality control analysis such as tests and inspections.
Use critical thinking to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
Select appropriate tools and equipment for a job.
Practice active listening and communicate effectively.
Make judgments and decisions, weighing relative costs and benefits.
Assess performance of self and others to make improvements.
Coordinate actions in relation to others.
Talk to others to convey information effectively.
Manage one’s own time and the time of others.
Physical Requirements Works in various areas, inside and outside, in a loud environment due to car wash equipment. Requires constant movement, heavy lifting (0–60 lbs), bending, reaching, and stooping.
