Base pay range: $25.00/hr - $30.00/hr.

Summary The position’s primary functions include but are not limited to performing detailed reviews and risk analysis on an ascribed portion of the Company’s portfolio of accounts to assess commercial credit risk and assign, maintain, or adjust credit limits. For accounts that do not qualify for an open line of credit, the role requires collaboration with team leads to discuss alternative hedging options. The holder is responsible for continuous monitoring of their account portfolio, ensuring credit limits are sufficient, alerting team leads to financial downturns, and suggesting credit actions or other risk‑mitigating solutions.

Responsibilities

Manage commercial credit risk for an assigned portfolio of accounts applying the Company’s credit practices and procedures.

Perform detailed reviews and risk analysis on an ascribed portion of the Company’s portfolio to assess commercial credit risk and assign or adjust credit limits.

Plan and schedule credit reviews and risk analyses for the assigned portfolio.

Use credit risk analysis skills and business acumen, along with available risk assessment tools and third‑party data, to analyze new account requests for open lines of credit.

Obtain necessary information to risk assess, assign a risk category using the Financial Health Indicator, and submit robust financial reviews for activation of credit lines in SAP.

Review and analyze assembled reports, scorecard data, financial statements, bank and trade references, and payment history data to make sound financial decisions.

Recommend credit lines or alternative hedging options for unqualified accounts and facilitate implementation under team lead guidance.

Handle non‑routine credit inquiries and correspondence related to the portfolio, deferring to team leads for complex cases.

Monitor monthly lines of credit to ensure balances remain within approved limits.

Assist team leads or senior analysts with risk assessment of accounts receivable and credit processes across various divisions.

Represent the Company at creditors’ meetings, trade shows, bankruptcy proceedings, or related events as requested.

Prepare and submit departmental reports, including quarterly, monthly, watch list, Z‑Credit AR forecast, and ad‑hoc reports.

Participate in customer visits as needed to obtain financials or assess business operations of assigned accounts.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree focusing on accounting or finance.

Proficiency in Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Strong analytical skills for interpreting financial statements and written/verbal data.

3–5 years of commercial credit experience, including complex financial statement analysis and use of spreadsheets and reporting tools.

Understanding of risk/reward analysis, credit mitigation documents, and familiarity with SAP.
