Controller

Senior Partner- Direct Hire and Contract Solutions Newly created Controller opportunity with a well-established company of over 50 years, reporting to the CFO/President. Experience working with Transportation and municipal infrastructure clients is highly preferred.

The Controller will manage the financial operations for construction projects, oversee job costing, and ensure financial compliance. Work closely with the leadership team to provide financial guidance and ensure our projects are completed within budget and on schedule.

Responsibilities

Financial Management and Reporting

Manage billing and cash flow

Provide financial support for bidding/estimating

Work closely with project managers to align financials with project schedules and milestones

Maintain a detailed understanding of project contract terms and ensure accurate billing and invoicing

Internal Controls and Compliance

Qualifications

8+ years of experience

in construction finance or accounting, particularly in

public works

in New Jersey with an understanding of NJ DOT projects and regulations.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to manage complex financial data.

Experience in managing financials for

government contracts

or

municipal projects .

Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr
