Device RN
Fairview Health Services is hiring a Device RN for their Cardiovascular Heart Clinic located in Maplewood, MN.
This is a 0.8 FTE (64 hours biweekly) position, working Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
As a Device Practitioner, you will provide Device Service to all Heart Clinic device patients, including:
Reprogramming
Post‑op checks
Troubleshooting
Turning devices on and off prior to procedures
Pre‑ and post‑device implant education to patients and families
Responsibilities
Maintains knowledge of and complies with all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards.
Actively participates in creating and implementing workflow improvements.
Monitoring and assessing patients with implanted cardiac devices, performing device checks and interpreting implantable cardiac device data.
Acts as clinical liaison with vendors regarding new technology and education updates.
Stays up‑to‑date on current policies, procedures and best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Nursing Degree in Nursing
3 years of critical care nursing experience
MN Registered Nurse (RN) License
Basic Life Support (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
Preferred Qualifications
3 years Electrophysiology experience, including device experience from a device manufacturer or clinic
