Associate or Mid-level Manufacturing Engineer – 2nd Shift Boeing – Production Engineering Organization – 787 Program – North Charleston, SC – 2nd Shift.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies.

Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.

Develop, identify, and implement conceptual designs while maintaining the program architecture for build.

Lead and implement manufacturing plans.

Conduct producibility and variation analyses to ensure manufacturing process capability aligns with requirements.

Assist in providing producibility information for project plans and document best practices.

Analyze design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions.

Resolve technical problems that significantly impact performance, cost, or schedule.

Coordinate and implement new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies, and concepts.

Validate and ensure production readiness of solutions to complex problems.

Implement lean principles and technologies.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an ABET‑accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry and applicable experience in a professional exempt engineering classification.

2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Mid Level: 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

2+ years of engineering experience related to the development, selection, and/or revision of parts, materials and process specifications for production testing, electrical subsystems, aircraft interiors, and other aircraft systems.

2+ years of experience in production planning, including ownership of value stream build plans.

Experience with 787 systems, build plans, production testing, electrical installations, and/or aircraft interiors is a plus.

Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a demanding work environment and schedule.

Associate Level:

$83,300 - $112,700

Mid‑Level:

$98,600 - $133,400
