The Lead Technician / Crew Chief coordinates, monitors, and performs work activities on residential and commercial projects to successfully fulfill service needs and facilitate a positive customer experience. Responsibilities

Supervise and perform production work according to SERVPRO® processes and ensure quality control. Manage the customer and client experience and overall customer satisfaction tracked with online reviews. Communicate clear expectations to restoration technicians, coach and train them, and supervise their activities. Document a detailed and accurate job file in a digital file to support the services provided. Monitor assigned jobs from start to finish. Manage labor and consumable item usage on assigned projects. Communicate with production manager and office staff on project progress and issues. Manage data using industry software programs. Communicate, follow and enforce all OSHA guidelines for job safety. Be readily available for on‑calls and emergencies. Requirements

Experience in restoration work related to cleanup from damage caused by water, fire, and mold is required. Experience leading and supervising a team in the restoration industry is required. IICRC certifications highly preferred. Experience using industry related software programs. Ability to travel locally or out of state when necessary. Ability and willingness to work nights and weekends as required. Ability to be on‑call as needed. Valid driver’s license. Able to comply with franchise guidelines. Effective written and oral communication. Preferable bilingual (English/Spanish); basic English is mandatory. Physical and Work Environment Requirements

Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds unassisted and lift up to 100 pounds with assistance. Exposure to chemicals. Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing. Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights. Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces under buildings). Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects.
