Raytheon’s Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities directorate is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to support hardware/software integration and activities for the family of Patriot programs within Andover-based Patriot Labs. Responsibilities
Contribute to successful technical execution of complex integration and test events Perform daily testing execution and troubleshooting efforts within an engineering laboratory environment Utilize working knowledge of software programming to support complex software and hardware integration testing and troubleshooting efforts Develop expertise in program hardware and software interfaces Interact at a technical level with team members from different engineering disciplines (HW, SW, Mechanical, Systems Integration and Test, etc.) Support continuous improvement process by identifying and troubleshooting issues with software and hardware, and clearly documenting all actions and steps taken Utilize your working knowledge of L/UNIX to troubleshoot and configure assets to meet customer needs Ability to travel domestically 10%, to White Sands Missile Range Qualifications
Required
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience. Experience with C/C++, LabVIEW, Python, and/or FORTRAN 77 Experience with Linux and/or UNIX. Preferred
Experience identifying and troubleshooting issues with hardware, and clearly documenting all actions and steps taken Experience with radar systems or complex military systems Excellent communication skills, verbal, and written Experience with instrumentation and/or test equipment (e.g., oscilloscope, multi‑meter and/or spectrum analyzer).
