Delta Industries is currently looking for a Floating Concrete Plant Operator for its Ready Mix concrete plants in Meridian, MS and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities
Monthly Safety Meetings
Ensure quality concrete is produced and delivered.
Batch concrete using integrated computer systems.
Maintain a reliable plant and utilize preventative maintenance procedures.
Assess the quality of materials delivered and perform daily cook‐off to verify moisture.
Ensure batches have consistent slump concrete.
Accountable for the integrity of Delivery Professional and yard personnel payroll hours.
Emphasize plant speed.
Daily review of checklist determined by Operations Manager to ensure equipment functions properly.
Ensure delivery professionals perform daily vehicle inspections.
Work 10‑12 hours a day.
This is a working Operator/Batcher position. The candidate will batch concrete 90% of the time.
Job Type & Compensation Full‑time. Pay based on experience: $18.00‑20.00/hr.
