Management Analyst I – EOIR/BIA CGI seeks a Management Analyst I to support the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) in the DOJ’s Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) at its headquarters in Falls Church, Virginia. The BIA is the highest administrative body for interpreting and applying immigration laws, making decisions on appeals through a paper‑review process. The successful candidate will work in a fast‑paced environment and contribute directly to nationwide immigration processing.

Location: 5107 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA 22041

Responsibilities

Improve operational efficiency as assigned.

Compile case‑load statistics and other performance data in consultation with or on behalf of the client.

Provide findings and associated data/graphics upon request.

Assist with preliminary review for administrative adjudication of cases.

Use the case‑management system to conduct queries.

Required Qualifications

Excellent communication skills.

Strong analytical and deductive reasoning.

Intermediate/advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Ability to complete CGI background investigations, including 50‑state education and employment checks, and any required credit or driving records checks.

U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain an MRPT clearance are required.

Desired Qualifications

Experience in government or agency environments.

Knowledge of immigration law and administrative adjudication processes.

Prior experience with data analysis and reporting.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Rate: $25.72 per hour (non‑negotiable).
