Position Summary

The Coordinator, Tech Ops Administrative reports to the Manager Administrative and is responsible for carrying out assigned duties using JetBlue guidelines and processes. The Coordinator provides administrative support to all Tech Ops hourly crewmembers, which includes Maintenance, Quality Control and Material crewmembers or Maintenance Operations Center (MOC), as well as support for the maintenance, materials and MOC leadership. The Coordinator is highly organized, attentive to detail and can work under minimal supervision in a highly pressured environment.

Essential Responsibilities

Processes and submits payroll for all hourly crewmembers on a weekly basis.

Updates work schedules to ensure minimum manpower requirements are met; if not, posts and awards overtime slots.

Creates and maintains department filing system.

Monitors office supply inventory and orders as necessary; ensures received supplies are correct and expensed appropriately.

Assists Tech Ops leadership in tracking crewmembers’ time and attendance records.

Addresses crewmembers’ requests and needs in a professional manner providing follow up.

Handles all aspects of meeting and event coordination.

Responsible for completing the return to work checklist for all crewmembers coming back to work after a 30‑day or more leave.

Schedules, tracks and reminds crewmembers of any outstanding training.

Assists with company and station ID renewals.

Provides administrative support to leadership.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education Required High School/GED

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) Diploma.

One (1) year of customer service, administrative support, or office support experience.

Experience with Microsoft Excel in develop and report metrics.

Strong organizational skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing information quickly.

Ability to work independently, under minimal supervision, in a team environment.

Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish is required to perform job duties at Spanish‑speaking stations.

Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge.

Depending on location, may need to acquire and maintain a United States Customs Clearance.

Available for overnight travel (10%).

Must pass a pre‑employment drug test.

Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.

Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Preferred Experience And Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.

Three (3) years of experience in Aviation.

Two (2) years of customer service, administrative support, or office support experience.

Crewmember Expectations

Regular attendance and punctuality.

Must be willing to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short‑notice.

Able to maintain a professional appearance.

When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of aircraft.

Compensation The base pay range for this position is between $20.00 and $30.00 per hour. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short‑term and long‑term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
