We are The Ryan Law Group, a full-service Personal Injury law firm located in Manhattan Beach, CA. We are looking for a full-time Records Coordinator to join our growing team! Our office is located right at the intersection of Highland and Rosecrans in Manhattan Beach, with a beautiful view of the beach right from our windows. The Strand and the sand are just a two-minute walk away and offer a great way to spend your lunch break!
Responsibilities
Assist Case Manager(s) with obtaining medical records and billing for clients and negotiating medical bills at the end of the case.
Correspond with clients to obtain information about medical providers seen.
Use our medical record retrieval platform, Arctrieval, to request medical, billing, and imaging records for clients.
Pay invoices to obtain medical records.
Keep our case management system (Casepeer) and Dropbox updated with medical record retrieval costs/expenses on a client file.
Correspond with medical providers at the end of each case to negotiate medical bills to finalize and close out a client’s case.
Qualifications
Must be able to commute to and work in-person at our office in Manhattan Beach between 8-4:30, 8:30-5, or 9-5:30.
Close attention to detail.
Organized.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Outgoing personality, people person.
Able to multitask.
Good follow-up and follow-through with tasks.
Team player.
Education & Experience
At least 1 year of administrative experience.
Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year university.
Spanish speaker a plus, but not required.
Compensation: $22 - $24 hourly.
