Warehouse Repair and Configuration Associate (Permanent Full Time)

Plainfield, Indiana

Ryder is immediately hiring for this role.

Compensation and Schedule

Hourly Pay: $22.50 per hour

Schedule: First Shift Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Two (2) years or more expert experience with PCs and peripherals hardware and assembly

Two (2) years or more experience in desk-side support of all Microsoft Windows environments

A+ Certification preferred

MCSA and Net+ Certifications preferred

Responsibilities

Configure computer systems (hardware and software) and other related equipment for external customers

Diagnose and repair PC related systems within the warehouse environment using technical skills, hardware and software knowledge and troubleshooting techniques to maintain the expected system performance and production levels

Assess and repair PCs and peripherals requiring service to return them to full functionality

Configure PCs hardware and software to required specifications. Establish all connection points between PCs and network, troubleshooting applications and related problems

Provide system solutions to operating requirements using personal analytical skills and knowledge to facilitate production processes and enhance productivity

Train lower level tier technicians to improve their job responsibility regarding system applications using training aids and operating procedures

Ensure PCs have licenses for applicable software

Maintain Ryder Safety & Security procedures

Work as a material handler, as needed

Perform other duties as assigned
