You'll play a crucial role in supporting craft workers on construction or maintenance projects, working alongside experienced professionals to gain valuable hands‑on experience in the field. Safety is paramount, as your contributions directly impact the well‑being of team members and the public.
Pay Range
Starting at $20/hr
Paid weekly
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in setting up equipment by hand or machine.
Load, transport, unload, and furnish craft workers with materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
Clean work area and restock supplies as needed.
Assist in lifting, positioning, and securing journeyman’s tools and equipment.
Abide by the Company Safety and QA/QC programs as well as OSHA rules and regulations.
Work overtime as required and maintain regular, punctual attendance.
Qualifications
High school education or equivalent.
Previous on‑job training on a construction site.
Proficiency with hand tools related to the tasks or craft.
Physical Demands
Lifting more than 50 pounds frequently.
Climbing up and down ladders, stairs, scaffolds, and other objects while carrying tools/equipment.
Standing or walking for long periods.
Using arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects.
Repeating short duration tasks according to a set procedure.
Tolerating temperature fluctuations, loud noises, dusty work environment, and high voltage electromagnetic fields.
This role is classified as safety sensitive. Candidates must proactively initiate, effectively lead, and consistently uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards. Compliance with this requirement is a fundamental condition for employment.
