Job Description We are seeking a Mechanical Assembly & Test Technician to accurately assemble and test products in a manufacturing environment while meeting quality and on-time delivery requirements.
This role involves hands-on mechanical assembly, basic testing, and inspection under direct supervision and supports lean manufacturing initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
Performs basic assembly and test functions using mechanical skills, tools, and test equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Records and documents test results using basic electrical equipment and measurement tools.
Interprets technical documents such as blueprints, engineering orders, test specifications, and quality directives to ensure accurate assembly.
Produces and inspects assemblies to meet customer and industry standards.
Participates in lean initiatives by identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction.
Qualifications
Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand and power tools.
Ability to read basic blueprints and work instructions.
Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred.
