Responsibilities
Assist the experienced dental team in providing exceptional patient care.
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized environment.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post‑treatment care.
Support dentists during procedures, anticipating their needs to ensure smooth workflow.
Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist.
Manage appointment scheduling and maintain patient records accurately.
Qualifications
2–3 years of previous dental assisting experience.
1–2 years of experience as an Endodontics assistant.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficiency in dental software and technology is a plus.
Requirements Before applying, you must meet the state requirements outlined below.
Connecticut: certification and proof of formal training to expose X‑rays.
Florida: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X‑rays (including FDOH Permit).
Georgia: CPR certification, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EDDA) certification preferred, and proof of formal training to expose X‑rays.
Massachusetts: CPR certification, proof of formal training to expose X‑rays, BORID certification and annual CE requirements per state regulations.
Michigan: Provide evidence of X‑ray training certification upon hiring; if lacking, an 8‑week period is granted to submit.
New Jersey: Proof of X‑ray training.
New York: Not applicable.
Ohio: Proof of formal training to expose X‑rays (including FDOH Permit to expose X‑rays).
Texas: CPR certification, TSBDE: TX State Board of Dental Examiners.
