Position Summary A clinical microbiology fellowship position is available in the Department of Pathology, Microbiology, and Immunology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. The candidate will join a two-year Committee on Postdoctoral Educational Programs (CPEP) approved training program that provides hands on experience in the basic disciplines of clinical microbiology. Administrative experience through participation in management and committee interaction is also a part of the training program. Applicants must hold a Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. degree in clinical microbiology, microbiology or related discipline. Ideal candidates will have previous experience working within a diagnostic laboratory setting and a strong desire to pursue future activities as it pertains to public health and microbiology.
