Position Overview We are seeking a
Construction Project Engineer
to support our Commercial Project Management and Field Operations teams throughout all phases of construction. This role is critical to the successful planning, coordination, documentation, and execution of commercial construction projects. The
Construction Project Engineer
will assist with scheduling, contract administration, technical coordination, and jobsite support—ensuring projects meet quality, safety, and schedule expectations.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate communication between the Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Superintendent, Project Accountant, subcontractors, and vendors.
Attend pre-construction meetings, job meetings, and coordination meetings.
Manage and maintain Submittal and RFI logs; coordinate reviews with design professionals.
Distribute approved submittals, shop drawings, and project documents to field teams.
Support preparation and processing of change orders.
Ensure all project documentation is accurate, current, and properly filed.
Assist with preparing and updating construction schedules.
Support Superintendents with daily jobsite reporting and field coordination.
Regularly walk jobsites with project leadership to identify and resolve issues.
Collect and organize jobsite photos and records.
Support enforcement of quality standards and design compliance.
Maintain a strong focus on quality and adherence to construction standards.
Assist in ensuring all work complies with contract documents, plans, and specifications.
Support site-specific safety requirements and corporate safety standards.
Help identify and correct safety concerns immediately.
Ensure all site requirements are met (badging, safety orientations, minority/women participation requirements, etc.).
Assist Project Accounting with budget tracking, expense documentation, and data entry.
Help minimize project risk and cost exposure through accurate documentation and coordination.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field.
0–3+ years of relevant construction management or field experience.
Strong understanding of construction documents, plans, and specifications.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and planning skills.
Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Strong time management and prioritization skills.
Willingness to travel between construction sites as required.
Must have valid work authorization in the U.S.

Compensation
Annual Salary: $70k - $80k - commensurate with experience.
