Job Description
Our company is currently seeking a permanent tax preparer/accountant. Will be responsible for 1040, 1120, 1065, etc. tax preparation. Individual will also need to be able to complete the necessary write-up to prepare these returns. Additional duties will include some payroll preparation, sales tax and other general accounting, including preparation of financial statements.
Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
Compute and record numerical data
Check the accuracy of business transactions
Perform data entry and administrative duties
Qualifications
Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Strong organizational skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
