Harmer is partnering with a client on a search for a Controller. This role will oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. The position works closely with leadership and plays a key role in strengthening processes, controls, and financial insight across the organization.
What you’ll do
Lead the accounting function, including close, reporting, and general ledger activities
Manage and develop accounting staff while maintaining strong internal controls
Own month‑end close, financial statements, and balance sheet integrity
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Monitor cash flow, banking relationships, and financial obligations
Support audits, tax filings, and compliance with GAAP
Provide financial insights and analysis to support management decisions
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree; Accounting or Finance preferred
5+ years of accounting experience
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
Proven ability to manage priorities, analyze data, and lead with accuracy and accountability
