Overview Are you passionate about empowering legal professionals and shaping the future of attorney training and professional development? Ropes & Gray is seeking a motivated Professional Development and Training Coordinator to play a pivotal role in coordinating and implementing innovative, high-impact learning experiences for our Litigation Department.

Responsibilities

Serve as an integral member of our Litigation training team, working closely with the Senior Professional Development and Training Manager and leading junior team members.

Coordinate and enhance our new associate camp for the Litigation Department, collaborating with training partners, the Litigation Training Committee, and the Attorney Development and PD&T Teams.

Partner with internal and external experts to develop and implement engaging training for Litigation associates at all levels, including e-discovery, ethics, and Gen AI.

Organize and manage associate cohort summits, ensuring seamless logistics and impactful content.

Recruit and supervise Northeastern interns, providing guidance and fostering professional growth.

Support key committees and teams, coordinate focus groups, and oversee training attendance tracking and reporting.

Take on additional responsibilities as assigned, contributing to a culture of excellence and innovation.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.

At least two years of experience in a large law firm setting preferred.

Strong understanding of legal practice areas and professional development best practices.

Compensation and Total Rewards Package The anticipated pay range for this role is:

Boston: $69,500 - $100,800

New York: $75,800 - $109,950

In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance. Compensation will be determined based on qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and internal equity.

Working Conditions This position requires a hybrid on‑site presence as an essential function of the role. Consistent and predictable on‑site presence is required for ongoing business continuity, professional development, and effective collaboration with colleagues and management.
