I help clients find talent they can't find themselves within Finance, Accounting, IT & Cybersecurity Peerless Search Partners is recruiting for a Controller.

This is an On-Site position. Qualified candidates must be in the Columbus, OH metro area.

The Controller is responsible for general accounting and analysis for multiple business units. This position manages, mentors and develops a team responsible for month end close processes including journal entry preparation, general ledger reconciliations, financial statement preparation and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, ad hoc analysis and supports year-end external review process, tax preparation and governmental audits.

Qualifications

BS in Accounting or Finance

8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years of management experience.

Certified Public Accountant is preferred

Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Innovative problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
