$65,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr Soni's client is seeking a detail-oriented
Staff Accountant
with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting to support day-to-day accounting operations. The Staff Accountant will assist with financial reporting, general ledger activities, reconciliations, and compliance with accounting standards. This role is ideal for an early-career accounting professional looking to grow technical and analytical skills. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and record journal entries Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Prepare bank, credit card, and account reconciliations Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies Assist with audits by providing documentation and explanations Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies Support budgeting and forecasting activities as needed Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or closely related field) Basic understanding of GAAP Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, spreadsheets) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks Effective written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications
Internship or 1–2 years of accounting experience Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) Progress toward CPA or interest in pursuing CPA Experience with financial reporting or audits Analytical and problem-solving skills High level of accuracy and integrity Time management and prioritization Ability to work independently and as part of a team Office or hybrid setting Standard business hours with additional hours during close periods Compensation
$65,000 to $80,000 annually Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications Seniority level
