Seasonal Position
Location: SeaWorld Human Resources
Date: Saturday, January 17, 2026
About the Role SeaWorld San Antonio is seeking outgoing and enthusiastic dancers, puppeteers, and costumed characters for the Spring season. Auditions begin at 11:00 am, with sign‑in beginning at 10:45 am. You must be at least 16 years old and have a parental consent form signed before you can audition.
Responsibilities
Perform show/act in assigned area according to show schedules.
Perform daily warm‑ups to ensure injury‑free performance.
Develop skills and knowledge to maintain excellent quality show appearance.
Follow show notes to insure progress in specific areas.
Maintain personal appearance by meeting costume and make‑up requirements.
Assist in general cleaning of specified areas.
Report prop/costume repairs in a timely manner.
Work with cast, crew, and management to maintain the integrity of the show.
Consistently demonstrate courteous and professional behavior with all team members and guests.
Work as part of a team to increase productivity while providing excellent guest service.
Maintain a professional appearance that meets grooming standards.
What It Takes To Succeed
Must be at least 16 years old.
High school diploma, GED, or be in the process of obtaining one.
Ability to perform in a casted role during the try‑out process.
Ability to work outdoors.
Availability for all rehearsal and performance dates.
Previous performance in community/school extra‑curricular activities.
Communication and public relations skills.
Ability to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude to ensure excellent guest service.
Provide excellent service to guests and team members.
Must be able to stand, walk, and work for prolonged periods of time in extreme weather conditions.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule to include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Consistently practices safe work habits including use of personal protective equipment, lifting, and reporting of unsafe situations.
Willing to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards.
Ability to complete all legal, company, and department training requirements, including passing required tests and certifications within established timelines.
