This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the Controller, with a dotted line to the CFO. This role plays a critical part in managing the company’s accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision‑making. Key Responsibilities
Manage the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and completeness of all financial records for multiple entities.
Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L and balance sheet).
Perform entity consolidations, intercompany reconciliations, and balance sheet account reviews.
Support month‑end and year‑end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
Review balance sheet accounts, investigate variances, and provide actionable insights.
Partner with the Controller and CFO on financial analysis, reporting, and process improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Experience with general ledger management, consolidations, and intercompany reconciliations.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
