Job Description
Title: Compliance Reporting Engineer
Key Accountabilities
Perform engineering development test activities such as emission and combustion measurements.
Complete emission project work including communicating and interfacing with the corresponding departments in Friedrichshafen Germany and locally.
Establish an efficient cross functional network in order to successfully accomplish project work in conjunction with the appropriate counterparts at our corporate headquarters in Friedrichshafen Germany.
Stay abreast of the latest emission legislation and actively participate in Regulatory meetings to keep the emissions and measurement solutions to the regulatory conformance.
Assist in leading overall communication, coordinate and consult with engineering departments and customers
Plan, implement, and evaluate measurement technology projects
Assist with Noise and Vibration measurements by working with experts in Friedrichshafen
Plan, implement, and evaluate after treatment system development activities, including compiling and exchanging related data with Friedrichshafen.
Provide management with regular reports on project work plans, continuous improvement activities and resource management
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls Royce Code of Conduct.
Perform special projects as required.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering and minimum of 5 years of experience in emission measurement technology, data acquisition, compiling measurement data and test of internal combustion engines; or 9 years of experience in emission measurement technology, data acquisition, compiling measurement data and test of internal combustion engines.

Preferred
Knowledge of the principles and operation of emission measurement and after treatment technology
Knowledge of the principles and operation of internal combustion engines including Exhaust Gas Recirculation, SCRaftertreatment and influence on Emission Measurement Equipment.
Good interpersonal skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to work efficiently with others
Good analytical and problem-solving ability, when problems are complex
Ability to handle multiple deadlines
Good presentation skills
Ability and willingness to travel - domestic and international
Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite
MTU product knowledge
Experience with AVL emission equipment and interface with AVL automation systems.
Experience with AVL Indicom systems.
German language skills

Pay Range $70,629 - $114,772-Annually
