We are seeking an experienced Engineering Assistant to support our client's engineering management team with project coordination, documentation, and administrative tasks. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth project execution by organizing information, facilitating communication, and providing logistical support across engineering activities.
Key Responsibilities
Create, organize, and maintain project documentation, including engineering plans, schedules, budgets, and reports.
Ensure all engineering documents are accurate, current, and easily accessible to team members.
Facilitate communication among project teams, stakeholders, and contractors.
Prepare and distribute engineering communications such as meeting agendas, minutes, and status updates.
Schedule meetings, site visits, and project‑related events.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support timely completion of project milestones.
Assist in monitoring budgets and expenses; help prepare financial reports and forecasts.
Collect and analyze project data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare summary reports and recommendations based on data analysis.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (engineering degree preferred).
5–10 years of experience in an engineering support or project coordination role.
Skills & Competencies
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and data analysis tools.
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
Understanding of engineering activities and workflows.
Ability to build effective working relationships with plant staff, design engineering teams, and vendors.
