The Role This is a remote litigation defense role for an attorney licensed in California who wants solid work, predictable hours, and fewer courtroom theatrics. The practice is defense-side, and the majority of cases resolve through settlement, making this a lower‑pressure litigation environment compared to traditional trial‑heavy roles.

What You’ll Be Doing
Handling litigation matters from inception through resolution
Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery
Managing cases that largely resolve through settlement
Collaborating with partners and senior attorneys in a structured, supportive environment
Meeting a reasonable 1,800 billable hour requirement

Salary and Other Compensation The annual salary for this position is between $170,000 – $220,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
