BIM/VDC Coordinator
Candidate will work with our Electrical Construction team to provide high-quality, data-enriched models for new build and existing building construction projects. Strong knowledge of BIM software and the electrical field is required. Responsibilities
Review electrical wiring and lighting plans, schedules, one-line diagrams, and details across projects. Audit and review models for each project and prepare for production. Prepare and revise drawings in AutoCAD and Revit with minimal supervision, ensuring consistency with company standards. Develop Revit Electrical and Lighting models and associated contract drawings. Read and interpret plans and drawings. Maintain project drawing files, file layering, drawing library, and documentation. Perform limited design functions including equipment layout and spatial planning within the electrical model. Maintain and update department standards (symbols, details, etc.). Communicate effectively with clients, external project team consultants, and in-house staff to produce quality designs and drawings. Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of three years experience in electrical design or BIM coordination. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Revizto. Ability to pass drug and background screening. Valid driver’s license. Proven ability to design electrical systems and produce detailed drafts. Basic understanding of electrical systems and drafting. Experience communicating technical information to diverse audiences. Experience in lighting is a plus. Work Details
